Can Work End Any Faster?

I won't talk a lot about this one. It's fun, it's got good energy and it moves. It also reminds me of two things that I wish I had more of in my life right now: summer and girlfriend. So, with that said, I will go back to my daydreaming of said summer and girlfriend as I continue rotting in front of my work desk.

Yes Matt, Faster is exactly how I want work to be happening right now.

(incredible) Song

I would like to draw your attention to the embedded video box below. This little musical morsel dropped like manna from heaven into our laps last weekend while we were cruising along the PCH on Memorial Day. In a word (or two): Sweet serendipity.

Here's the deal. It's not the best constructed song. I would have loved to have heard another verse or two and maybe a nice counterpoint of chorus and verse at the end in a frenzy of voice and instrument, but I didn't write the song, Newton Faulkner did. So, without further ado, here he is singing it:

Seriously though, don't you love the lyrics?

"I'm gonna master all kinds of kung fu. I'm gonna live inside a tiny zoo."

"I'm gonna grow myself a giant afro (incredible) when the alarm goes off I just won't know."
